What does it cost to connect Search Console to Claude?

Is it safe to connect GSC to Claude with Easy Fetcher?

Yes. The connection is read-only through Google OAuth, tokens are encrypted at rest, and your search data is never used to train AI models. You can revoke access any time from your Easy Fetcher dashboard or your Google account.

What Search Console data can Claude access once connected?

Claude can read clicks, impressions, CTR and average position by query, page, country, device and search appearance, plus index coverage, URL inspection and sitemap status. It's strictly read-only, so Claude can answer questions and build reports but can never change anything in Search Console.

Do I need Claude Desktop, or does it work on claude.ai?

It works with Claude through its connector settings, so you can use it in both the Claude web app and the desktop app. You only need an Easy Fetcher account, which hosts the MCP server, and access to the Search Console property you want to connect.

Can Claude track keyword rankings and clicks?

Yes. Once connected, Claude reads your Search Console performance data to surface top and rising queries, average position, clicks and impressions, and can compare date ranges to show which keywords and pages are gaining or losing search traffic.

Why isn't my Search Console data showing up in Claude?

The most common cause is the connected Google account not having access to that property, reconnect with an account that has at least Restricted access, and confirm you picked the correct property. If Claude doesn't detect the connector, re-paste your MCP URL under Settings → Connectors and make sure it saved.
