Is it safe to connect PageSpeed Insights to Claude with Easy Fetcher?

Yes. The connection is read-only, no credentials to your site are required, and your data is never used to train AI models. PageSpeed Insights analyses publicly available page performance, and you can revoke Claude's access any time from your Easy Fetcher dashboard.

What PageSpeed data can Claude access once connected?

Claude can read Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS, FCP, TTFB), Lighthouse category scores, lab metrics, CrUX field data, and the full list of opportunities and diagnostics for any URL. It's strictly read-only: Claude reports and recommends but changes nothing.

Do I need Claude Desktop, or does it work on claude.ai?

It works with Claude through its connector settings, so you can use it in both the Claude web app and the desktop app. You only need an Easy Fetcher account, which hosts the MCP server and calls PageSpeed Insights for you.

Can Claude check Core Web Vitals and suggest fixes?

Yes. Claude reads your LCP, INP and CLS for each page, flags what's failing, and turns PageSpeed's opportunities and diagnostics, render-blocking resources, unsized images, unused JavaScript and more, into a prioritised, plain-English fix list you can hand to a developer.

Why isn't my PageSpeed data showing up in Claude?

Check the URL you asked about is publicly reachable (PageSpeed can't analyse pages behind logins or staging blocks), and that you specified a full URL. If Claude doesn't detect the connector, re-paste your MCP URL under Settings → Connectors and make sure it saved.

Can I connect PageSpeed Insights to ChatGPT too?
